Additional Infos: Kurama was a cold hearted, ruthless yoko (hence the name Yoko Kurama) and ruthless thief in the Makai considered to be an A-class demon. Yoko Kurama has silver hair and amber eyes. He possesses silver fox ears upon his head and one tail in his bipedal form. In kitsune form, Yoko has silver fur and five tails. His eyes glow red, When Suuichi falls back on thus form, he reverts back to his ruthlessness.

Additional Infos: Shuuichi Minamino studies secondary education at Yokai Academy. He is an excellent student who tops his class. He wears a pinkish reddish colored uniform with a yellow strip running down the middle of his shirt, and black dress shoes. Suuichi is generally regarded as a calm and level-headed. His analytical nature is present in battle where he prefers to study the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents before devising a strategy of his own, but has exhibited a cutthroat side of his personality when truly angered. He is highly protective of those he cares about and is often merciless to anyone that poses them a threat, a shift in his usually friendly manner. In fact, he is also considered cunning and ruthless, a testament to his past as the legendary yōko (fox demon) bandit Kurama. In many instances, Kurama has shown to be very self-sacrificing in the interests of the safety of his friends and family, and often receives the most serious wounds in combat. Close friends sometimes call him "Fox Boy".

Because he was the result of a Fox Demon and a human embryo merging both spiritually and physically, Kurama also develops a mildly split personality, dividing his merged self from his Fox Demon self. He will sometimes refer to his Fox Demon side as being a separate entity, and vice versa.

Youko Kurama: The Thief

Youko Kurama is a Youkai Kitsune (demon fox) living in Makai for four centuries or so. He was a thief, a very good one actually. He led a group of demons in stealing.

He was cold, cruel, fearless and I might say, very beautiful. A powerful demon who never cared for anyone but himself. He possesses a limitless ability of controlling plants and usually seen fighting with his frequently used weapon, the rose whip.

For a very long time he reigns as the king of thieves for he was really good at what he does. But one fateful night came, Kurama was badly wounded as he was shot by a hunter. Death was already knocking at his door and he was not prepared to open.

Frustrated, Kurama thought of a way to escape his nearing end. And so he thought of one, sneaking into the Human World and entering a body of a human.

Death of Makai's Famous Thief

Kurama entered a body of a human baby boy in the womb of a woman named Shiori Minamino. He was named Shuuichi when he was born. But deep inside the innocent looking baby, he was still Kurama, the cold, the cruel, the thief.

And so few years had passed. He grew up like any normal human baby would. He was showered with love by his human mother. And little by little, the thief in him died. He learned how to love and how to care, and all of this he owed to his mother. Kurama, now Shuuichi, was not the same Kurama that was in Makai years ago.

Shuuichi Minamino: The New Kurama

Shuuichi grew up pretending to be human. Nobody knows who he really was. He kept it to himself. He discovered that he can still use his power to control plants and he also found out that his power is now limited. He cannot use it the same way he does back in Makai. But he did not mind. He was contented, he is not asking for more.

Shuuichi loves his mother so much that he was willing to sacrifice everything for her, even his life. After all, he owes his mother the life she had given him. It was not the life he was expecting as a thief, it was far better than that. It was the life he least expected he would live, but loved it so much. He was a good son. A very good one.

He entered school and excelled. Having the brains and the good looks to go with it, he was quite popular in school especially with the girls often seen trying to catch his attention.

Besides from being the popular kid, he is also a brother. When his mom married, Shuuichi found himself brothering a much younger Hatanaka Shuuichi. As a brother, he was protective. He cares for his brother and would do anything to keep harm away from him. Shuuichi (Hatanaka) in return, respects his older stepbrother. He looks up to him like any younger brother would look up to an older brother. Shuuichi, shall I say, was a good brother. As a stepson, I cannot say the same though he was a fine one.

Kurama: The Thinking Warrior

When he enrolled Yokai Academy, he ended up being a friend and ally to some. He found himself fighting again but with a different reason, he was fighting for humanity, for peace between Humans, and Yokai. Protecting innocent beings.

But his power decreased. Not slightly, but much. Despite of his less power, he never backed down in a fight. He was a warrior, a smart one. He thinks twice before doing anything, he plays by the rule, reasons whenever he has to and plans his every move. He was the brain of the group, the thinker, the cautious, the calm.

Recently, when he was sixteen, his capabilities of acquiring the same amount of power that he has when he was still in Makai came back as well as his old yoko form. He can freely transform from being human to demon whenever he feels intense emotions, and by removing his seal. But he prefers being human. The demon in him died long ago. He is now Shuuichi Minamino.
