Midnight Requiem

Rinkoyku could be seen walking along the dimly lit streets of downtown Tokyo with his hands in his pockets as he seemed to easily make his way through crowds of people.

She yawned as she walked to the bus station in the late evening. The twilight moon illuminated her form as she waited for the bus. It pulled up slowly and stopped at the bus stop by the cliffs. The doors opened with a sharp hiss and the bus driver greeted her with an eerie smile. Going to the Human world, are ya? His voice was sharp and mocking. She swallowed down her fear and nodded as she borded the bus. She took the first seat in the front. She jumped as the doors made a shrill squeaking noise as the slowly closed. The vehicle rattled and rumbled as it started off towards the tunnel of the fourth demension. The bus seemed to be in the inky darkness of the tunnel for a moment before it was greeted by the bright lights of Tokyo.

The bus hissed as it came to a stop at a human bus stop. She stepped off, dressed in a short, crimson dress. It was sleeveless, and the straps tied behind her neck. The dress length came down to her mid-thigh, and the cotton fabric hugged her shapely form. Instantly all eyes were on her. The humans gawked and gazed at her like hungry wolves eyeing a piece of meat. She wrinkled her nose and looked around. What she saw suprised her completely. It was Rin. He was wandering the streets alone. She ignored the crowds of drooling human males and swiftly walked to catch him. Rin?! She called out, hoping that he would hear her.

As he walked he could hear Moka's voice and turned around to see her. "So you come here too huh?" He was dressed in his usual attire as the dim, florescent lights revealed how pale his skin really was.

She smiled, panting a bit as she caught up to him. She smoothed the dress down her thighs, noticing how it moved a bit from her running. I came for a little shopping. Tokyo has much more when it comes to choice. What are you doing here, Rin? I'd never expect to see you in a place such as this. She smiled again, ignoring the crude calls and whistles coming from passersby.

"I come here every now and then to visit the blood banks.." He could feel the human girls starring at him with awe stricken eyes.

She giggled lightly then turned her gaze back to him. I see. Do you mind if I join you? I always hate walking these streets alone.

"Sure." He began walking again as he was heading for one of the major blood banks in Tokyo.

She smiled and walked at his side, humming a quiet tune as she did. The streetlights that lined the busy streets seemed to illuminate her porcelain flesh, causing her to stand out more that she had expected.

He walked into the blood bank as he went over to door in the far back.

She stayed in front and waited for him to return. She leaned against the front of the building and gazed at the sky. Soon two thug looking males approached her. The first one was a big, burly looking guy, standing at about 6' 2" and looked like he was three feet wide. The moonlight reflected off of his clean shaved head. The other male was a scrawny looking guy covered in tattoos. His shaggy black hair covered most of his face, his eyes hidden behind dark Sunglasses.

The Big guy grinned a malicious grin as he stepped up to her. Hey there, little girly. What are you doing here all alone? The man reached out to grip her arm, but she jerked back. She heard the mocking laughter of the scrawny male. The bigger guy turned and punched the other guy's arm. He then turned back to her and shot his arm out again, this time catching her by the wrist. Now now, little lady...Don't be like that. We just wanna play a little. She whimpered and struggled in his grasp. She looked up into the big guy's eyes, knowing that his intentions were malicious. She gripped his wrist with her free hand, it being instantly stopped by the skinny male's own hand. His grin grew wider, he and the big guy now laughing as they pinned her to the wall. She struggled to get free, but the big guy was too strong. The skinny guy licked his lips as he smoothed his bony fingers up her thigh. His high pitched cackle was soon replaced with his words. We're not gonna hurt ya, missy... She trembled, knowing better than that.

Suddenly a hand had caught the scrawny human male as he was thrown into a brick wall revealing Rin was standing beside Moka with his hand clenched like a vice around the other thug as his grip tightened.

Her eyes widened the moment the blurry figure of the skinny male slammed into the wall. She watched him fall to the ground, his face a bloody mess. She turned to see Rin at her side, his hand gripping tight onto the Big guy's wrist. She watched as the male's log of an arm jerked back, pulling her with it. She was jerked forward and pulled toawrds the male's massive torso. She closed her eyes and let out a quiet whimper as the male spoke. Hey! Back off, asshole. I saw the girl first! His voice sounded disgusting to her. She wanted to pull free, but couldn't find the strength. The thug balled up his free hand into a fist and threw a rather strong punch at Rin, aiming for his head.

He growled a bit as his eyes shot a sharp glare as he caught male's hand and crushed it within his grasp. "Leave before I do more than just simply break your hand. Hie eyes glowed blood red as he bared his teeth as his fangs grew.

The male groaned in pain and released Moka, she dropping to the ground. He held his broken hand against his chest as he looked at Rin. His eyes widened and his smug expression changed to one of utter horror. Y-You're a freak! A monster! He grabbed his buddy and fled the area, leaving behind a small trail of blood from the skinny guy's shattered face. She trembled and struggled to her feet, her dress lightly ripped from the skinny guy's invasive hands.

His expression went back to being normal as he looked over to Moka. "Might as well come inside and get a change of clothes." He turned around as he stepped back into the blood bank.

She nodded and followed him inside.

He walked back over to the door as as he placed his eye up to a retinal scanner then a few seconds later the door opened and he walked inside.

She tilted her head as she followed him deeper into the blood bank.

As they walked in he turned on the lights as the room turned out to be what seemed like a normal storage room as he headed towards the back.

She looked around the room for a minute, then followed him to the back, her curiosity growing.

He stopped at the wall in the farthest side of the room as he searched for panel among the wall.

She gazed down at the rip in her dress and sighed, thinking to herself. Disgusting humans....

He pressed his hand against a finger print scanner in disguise as a secret door opened up to reveal a spiraling staircase.

She shook her head, clearing her thoughts, then looked at the staircase.

He jumped down the middle as he landed quietly on the ground a couple stories down.
